About us

At the BSA at UIUC, we unite Bangladeshi students through cultural events and support, fostering a close-knit community on campus.

The Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) at UIUC is a vibrant community dedicated to bringing together Bangladeshi students studying at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Although we are far from home, our primary goal is to create a sense of family and belonging here on campus. We celebrate our rich cultural heritage through events like Bengali songs, dances, and traditional festivities such as International Mother Language Day, Pahela Baishakh, Eid etc. We also gather regularly to chat, share deshi foods, make connections, and support one another. Our mission is to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment where every member feels valued, connected, and empowered to contribute to our shared community. By encouraging collaboration across different departments and promoting equal opportunities for all, we aim to build a united, strong, and successful organization that honors our shared values and traditions.
